Keep in mind you also have to adjust the timing according to both latency & the timing of the weapon they are using. since i took boulder heave ;-; please, Havel's ring is pretty much worthless in this game unless you want to go for 30% equip load for the fast roll since wearing heavier armor only increases your absorption, which to be fair, works against heavier attacks.. and not to mention that to get to that 30% eq load, you still need high vitality which that gives you higher defense.. so a fast rolling guy has better armor than a mid roll guy x(well.. i had made a build with 13 vit and heavel and was able to use, greatsword, dark mask, karla's coat (my main fashion) and then dark gauntlets and black iron leggings for highest possible defense and got phys abs to 20% but then realized that having those heavy armors are a waste.. or rather the havel's ring and switched it to ring of favor (which also gives some eq but most importantly HP and stamina) and recalculated the best possible leggings and gauntlets and now my plan is to use outrider knight gauntlets and dark leggings and my phys abs is still 18%..and to those wandeing about the rest of my build, im also using dark pyromancies and chloranthy ring, life ring and carthus milk ring (and its for PvP.. for PvE i'd recommend ring of steel protection in place of life ring).
